 Clint Humphreys, President of Ride Solutions Inc., started his professional driving career as a vehicle/tire evaluator at Bridgestone/Firestone Inc. in 1998 after graduating with a B.A. Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University. Several years of training include attending Bondurant High Performance driving school in Phoenix Arizona, two months advance driver training at the Bridgestone test facility in Japan, and many hours of seat time while testing vehicles/tires on multiple test surfaces, including snow for the winter months in Montana and New Zealand.  Upon leaving Bridgestone in 2001, Clint joined Bill Janowski at DataMotive Inc (DMI), a well established independent winter test facility that specialized in the ASTM 1805 Standard of Single Wheel Driving Traction on Snow/Ice for several major tire suppliers. After 3 years with DMI, Clint purchased the tire testing company in 2004 and founded Ride Solutions Inc (RSI) and continues the same quality test operations started by DMI in the 1970’s. In the past, RSI has focused only on its own testing, but recently has also been providing test support to tire/vehicle manufacturers, and now occasionally offering private winter driver training upon request. In February 2008, RSI held its first successful training event on its snow course in West Yellowstone Montana, giving federal, state and local law enforcement the ability to improve their driving skills in the snow/ice.

Ride Solutions Inc. (RSI) is an independent tire testing facility that utilizes a dedicated area in West Yellowstone, MT known as the “old airport” for its winter testing operations from December to late March. RSI specializes in the ASTM 1805 standard test method for measuring the driving traction of passenger and light truck tires while traveling in straight-line on snow or ice covered surfaces. RSI also has available for lease a vehicle dynamics area and is capable of any technical support needed (tire mounting/dismounting, vehicle/tire changes, etc). We have several years of hands-on snow course preparation experience and the needed equipment to provide a quality test track. RSI is a small company, therefore you get to deal directly with Clint Humphreys, president and winter test director.
